In January, a post appeared on this blog highlighting the numerous, high-volume recalls and consumer alerts issued by IKEA over the past year and a half. As if to emphasize the contention of that post—that IKEA has a frightening track record of selling dangerous products—IKEA issued yet another recall barely two weeks later.

Vigilant consumers may remember that December 2014 saw coffeemaker manufacturer Keurig recall several million of its home coffee brewers following complaints that the appliances had caused numerous burn injuries. Now, almost a year to the day, kitchen appliance manufacturer Breville has issued a recall for its Fast Slow Cooker, a home pressure cooker that has reportedly caused burn injuries to multiple users.

Ohio Product Liability Lawyer Alert: Massive Drill Recall, 6 Injuries Reported

This week Harbor Freight Tools recalled 1.7 million cordless drills after it was revealed that a defect in the devices can lead to overheating. The handheld devices have already been linked to six instances of burns and five reports of damage to property.
